Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in local independent film as well as international commercials. Despite having small roles, she rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. After moving to New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer in the show All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside a number of the famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Her next role was on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter took her along on an audition for acting. She was one of the four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in ads on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical version that portrayed Jane Eyre.
